LONDON – Sept. 26, 2024 – Today, We. Communications (We.) announced the appointment of Samir Nanji as associate director, Corporate Reputation & Brand Purpose, the latest leadership addition to the agency’s growing Corporate Reputation & Brand Purpose team.

In his new position, Nanji will oversee the strategic delivery of integrated communications programmes for We.’s Corporate Reputation & Brand Purpose clients, including the Forest Stewardship Council and Sungrow. He will work closely with Directors of Corporate Reputation & Brand Purpose Kemi Akindele and Ryan Larnach who joined us from Zeno earlier this year. All three are based in London.

“It is a pleasure to welcome Samir to the We. team,” said Laura Gillen, UK managing director at We. “He brings an impressive array of skills in crisis management, issues preparedness, corporate and sustainability communications, and public policy. His blend of in-house and agency experience will be invaluable as we continue to drive growth and deliver impactful work for our clients.”

Before joining We., Nanji held in-house roles at leading organizations such as Kraft Heinz and the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), as well as agency positions at Milk & Honey, Weber Shandwick and Porter Novelli.

“I’m delighted to be joining the talented team at We.,” said Nanji. “The agency’s growing reputation for delivering outstanding corporate reputation and brand purpose work is exciting, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success and growth.”

Since it was formed in 2022 when Kemi Akindele joined We. to head up the offering, We. UK’s Corporate Reputation & Brand Purpose team has grown to seven figures and achieved 25% year-over-year growth. The rapidly expanding team is another key proof point of the agency’s overall momentum in the UK, with six promotions across its health, technology and digital teams also announced this month.
