Inclusive and Informed Communication
We live in a world where communications is f critical importance in our efforts to respect, protect and implement the rights. The words that we use, if inclusive, connect people. on the contrary, if they are partial, unfair and stereotyped, they create a rift among people within family, society and nations at large.
Conceptualised by Avian We. in 2021, Consciously Speaking is a pioneering terminology guide on sex, gender, and sexuality, designed to foster more inclusive and informed communication. Building on its impact, we launched the book’s Hindi translation, Satrangi Bhasha, in 2023, followed by Consciously Speaking 2 the same year. In 2024, we expanded its reach further with Jaanivpoorvak Boltana, the Marathi edition.
