Corey Kalbfleisch

Corey leads the agency’s finance, accounting, legal and corporate governance efforts worldwide. During a finance career spanning banking, the payments industry, and cybersecurity and managed security services, Corey has developed a simple professional credo: profit maximalization and corporate purpose can not only coexist, they can drive each other.

He brought this approach to We. when he came on board in 2009 from his previous role as CFO of Trustwave, astutely shepherding the agency’s multiyear growth strategy ever since.

Corey manages the finance team, leads WE’s acquisition efforts — structuring, due diligence, legal compliance — and keeps people and purpose at the center of budgeting and planning. Outside work, Corey is a gardener, avid reader and hiker who covered 500 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail over four weeks. He’s also a Seattle Sounders season ticketholder and dedicated Seattle sports fan.

His ten-thousand-hours project is to grow the perfect tomato.
